Fantasy Friday (Jan. 21)
And we are back after missing two straight weeks of fantasy posts. I apologize for that, and to make it up for you guys, I will take a look at some injuries that have happened of late, and break them down for you.
Jarrett Jack: This guy is out for the season and there is no chance he will return at the end of the season because the Nets aren't in the playoffs run, he is old, and they don't want to risk to have the injury come back. Sorry if you had him, but you now need to drop him.
Eric Bledsoe: There is no possibility that this guy will come back at the end of the season because the Suns aren't in the playoff race anymore. The last thing the Suns want to happen is to have Bledsoe turn out to be like Derrick Rose and Bledsoe is starting to look like him with the injuries. You just are going to have to drop Bledsoe.
Derrick Favors: The Jazz don't want to risk anything with him. He has missed over 15 consecutive games now with back spasms. They want him to be healthy for the remainder of the season. However, you would think that the Jazz would like him back as soon as possible considering that they are right on the edge out of the playoffs. Derrick Favors is a buy low guy right now and you should consider trading for him since he will most likely come back soon and bring in big numbers with him.
Anthony Davis: It has been the sum of Davis's career. Very minor injuries seem to get in his way. He has had shoulder issues as well as ankle issues. I expect him to get a couple more injuries this season. Hopefully he won't get an major injuries though.
Blake Griffin: Blake has been know to have injuries that keep him out for a little bit. However, this has been Blake's best season stat-wise. He is a guy that you could buy low into right now and I do suggest you make a trade for him if it is worth it.
Well, there are some injured players that either need to go or you should trade for. Next week, I hope to have the players of the week so stay tuned in for that.

Fantasy Friday: New Year's Resolutions
It's a new year! And there are some players that have had a great year, and there are some that are ready to put 2015 behind them. Those players are ready to start off fresh and come out with some new numbers. That is their New Year's Resolution. Let's take a look at them.
Kevin Love- This last year didn't go to well for him. He struggled as he was averaging under 20 PPG, something he hadn't done in a while. He wasn't shooting as well and not getting as much boards. To top that off, he was injured in the playoffs and the Cavs ended up losing in the Finals. Recently it has been real bad though. In December alone, Kevin Love has been averaging 12.7 points, and has been shooting 37.3% from the field and 27.1% from 3-point land. Coming into this next year, Kevin Love wants to bring that up. His New Year's resolution is to get out of this shooting slump and average 20 PPG. Can he do it? It's a New Year's resolution people!
Draymond Green- You heard this guy, he thinks the Warriors can get better. He isn't satisfied at all. As you can see, he already brought his 3-point percentage from 33% to 40%, which is insane. So this guy is always going to be getting better. For Green's New Year's resolution, he is looking to clean it up and cut it down to 1 turnover per game instead of 3. Good luck Green!
LeBron James- LeBron wants to be as good as he can right? Well he can start by shooting better. I think that is what LeBron wants to do. Increase his range. By the end of the year, LeBron wants to be a 38% three point shooter. Do I think that's possible, eh. But he can certainly bring that up.
Chandler Parsons- Yeah, Parson is having troubles. He is averaging a career low in points, rebounds, and steals. This should be the part of his career where he is at his best. And Chandler Parsons could be all-star material right? Yeah. That is why he wants to average at least 19 PPG for the year of 2016. Parsons wants to average the best numbers in his career yet. He doesn't want his career to end at the age of 27, he wants his best years to be now!
Brandon Jennings- He has started in all but 3 of his game up until now. Jennings has been bench after coming back from injury. Obviously, Jennings wants to start. But how is he going to. He has to prove himself, and the only way to start is to average starting numbers. He is going to average 18 PPG and become 6th man of the year. Then Jennings will prove that he is starter material. So he will either become a starter or he will be traded.
Michael Carter-Williams- He is sick of missing shots. He is going to develop a jumper. Not only that, but MCW is going to shoot at least 75% from FT and 33% from 3-point land. And just when you think he is satisfied, he will average at least 9 assists. MCW is going to be a valuable fantasy player to have. At least, that's the plan.
So, how did you like the resolutions. Do you have any that I didn't mention? Share them below in the comments section if you do. As always, I will see you next week. Happy New Year From NBA Inside The Play Nation!

Fantasy Friday: Christmas Presents
If you play fantasy basketball, you know that there are players that excel in certain areas, but there are areas you might not know they excel in. So let's take a look at what unexpected presents your fantasy players might be leaving you under your tree.
Serge Ibaka: This guy has been doing good. While he is not a premier scorer, he is well known for his rebounding and defense. What you might have missed on Ibaka, is his 3-point shooting. Ibaka has shot 40% from three point range this season and has made 18 three pointers as well.
Carmelo Anthony: He is a scorer. However, besides scoring, Melo does a lot of rebounding. He averages 7.3 RPG. Not only that but Melo also gets 1 steal per game.
Gorgui Dieng: This big man is known for his shot blocking and rebounding, but what you might not have known is that he shoots overly well from the FT line for a big man. He shoots 87.9% from the FT line and gets there at a pretty good rate.He has made 58 free throws this season. Not only that but he is averaging 1.1 blocks and 1.1 steals. He is great with steals and blocks.
Kevin Durant: Durant is a great shooter and a great scorer. People probably don't know that he is great defensively though. Durant has averaged 1.3 blocks and 1 steal per game this season. He has also been rebounding good with 7.7 rebounds per game. Kevin Durant will stuff your stockings full of surprises.
Matthew Dellavedova: Delly is known for his assists and his ability to get some points. Most people don't know how good his shooting is this season though. He has shot 44.9% from the field, 45% from the 3-point line, and a whooping 91.3% from the FT line. That is a major improvement from last season.
While these guys are giving you great unexpected presents, some of the players are giving you a big hidden lump of coal that you might not notice.
Rajon Rondo: While Rondo has been Mr. Triple-double this year, he has shot 53.6% from the FT line. That is something that most people might not notice.
Brandon Knight: He has played really well this season but you might not have noticed that he is averaging 3.3 turnovers. That is a lot for a point guard who only averages 5.2 assists.
LeBron James: LeBron averages great numbers. People look at LeBron and see all of the big stats. However, people might not notice that he is only shooting 26% from 3-point range. Not only that but he is attempting 3.8 threes per game.
There are many more of these surprise stats. If you have any, leave them in the comments section below. I hope you all have a great week in fantasy and that you have a Merry Christmas. See you next week.
Merry Christmas!

Fantasy Friday (Dec. 18)
Well, we are back to our weekly players in this post. We got some players that haven't definitely changed their fantasy value. So let's take a look at them shall we?
Over-Performers Of The Week
Over-Performers Of The Week
- Kobe Bryant: He has been great this past week. In 4 games he has averaged 20.3 PPG, 6 RPG, 4.8 APG, and only 1.5 turnovers while shooting 50.8% from the field and 37% from downtown.
- Raymond Felton: This has been an amazing week for him as he has averaged 14.3 points, 6 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 1 steal.
- Will Barton: Barton has been doing more than scoring of late. In his last four games he has averaged 18.3 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 3 APG, and 2.3 steals. Amazing right?
- Kevin Love: While he has been efficient with his other numbers, he has only averaged 13 PPG this week.
- Jared Sullinger: This week he has only averaged 8.3 points and 8.8 rebounds. The big thing is that shooting horribly; under 20% from beyond the arc, 40% from the FT line, and just 36.8% from the field.
- Matthew Dellavedova: Averaging 8 points and 6 assists could do you good in your league. He is only 9% owned in Yahoo and 12.4% in ESPN.
- D'Angelo Russell: This week he has averaged 14.3 points, 6 assists, and 2.3 steals. He has been playing great. The only problem is he is owned by over 3/4 of the fantasy leagues in both yahoo and ESPN.
- Raymond Felton: He had a triple-double this week and has been averaging great numbers. He is owned by just 30% in Yahoo and 31.8% in ESPN.

Fantasy Friday (Dec. 11)
This week instead of having our players of the week, we will look the people that you must trade for and the players you must trade off.
Trade For:
Trade For:
- Jonas Valanciunas: This guy has very low trade value right now and once he comes back, he will do really well. Valanciunas will be a buy low kind of guy. He will give you a lot of rebounds and play wonderful defense not to mention that he will also give you a great shooting percentage.
- John Wall: I think that if you can get John Wall right now, that would be great. Some owners will look at his shooting and PPG and automatically think that he isn't doing good at all. In reality, yeah, he isn't doing great but he is give you multiple assists, steals, and blocks. John Wall is a great low value kind of guy.
- Kevin Love: Kevin Love really doesn't look the best of late and is really being overlooked. People don't look at Love and think all-star, even though he is averaging all-star numbers. You can get this guy at low value.
- Blake Griffin: This guy is one of the best to have on your fantasy team. I would try to trade off James Harden for him, or even a guy like LeBron James would be a great trade-off. Why do I say this? Because I believe that Griffin is the second best guy to have in fantasy this year. He is averaging 25 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and nearly 1 block and steal per game while only averaging about 2 turnovers per game. Not to mention he is shooting 33% from beyond the arc, 73% from the FT line, and 52% from the field.
- Isaiah Thomas: This guy is a top PG in the league. He is averaging great numbers very quietly. This is a guy that you can get lower trade value for and your team will be very prosperous having this guy on your team.
- Markieff Morris: This guy isn't doing good at all right now, you either need to trade him or stash him for when he is traded. I say that now is the best time to trade him before it gets too bad for teams to even have him.
- Robert Covington: Covington has been playing really great of late but do not expect him to keep it up with Noel, Okafor, and Wroten coming back. His trade value is through the roof right now so you need to trade him fast.
- James Harden: If you are in a categories league, you are going to have a hard time winning with him. His turnovers and bad shooting is just too much and you could probably find someone who has a more positive value when trading.
- Chris Paul: He has had low numbers and has been injured quite a bit for the Clippers. People might look at Paul and might just make the trade. You have to make sure you get good value out of Paul though.
- Kristaps Porzingis: His trade value is going to be really high considering all of the hype about him. You can get a really solid fantasy player and you might be able to get a guy like John Wall out of him. You never know with Porzingis.

Fantasy Friday (Dec. 3)
Another week of Fantasy basketball is here. There have been some great player this week, as well as some disappointing players, so lets take a look at all of them.
Over-Performers Of The Week
- Alec Burks: This guy has been big for his team. In this past week he has averaged 20.3 PPG, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Not to mention the 46% behind the arc.
- Arron Afflalo: Has 31 points in one night and 13 in the next. He has played pretty well. Not to mention he is gathering ton of rebounds and shooting lights out from the field.
- Pau Gasol: 17.7 PPG, 14.3 RPG, 3.7 APG, and 2.3 BLPG this week. That is over-performing or Pau.
- Jahlil Okafor: His off-court issues might be contributing to this, but he has been not playing so hot of late. This week, he has shot 36% from the field and has just averaged 10 PPG. Not to great.
- Nerlens Noel: Jahlil's front-court buddy hasn't been the best either. In his last 3 games he has averaged just 7.7 PPG, 7.7 RPG, 1 steals, and 0.3 blocks with 2.7 turnovers and 36% shooting. Philly's big boys have not been that great this last week.
- Mirza Teletovic: He has been playing great this week averaging over 15 PPG and 4 three-pointers. He is owned by 18% in Yahoo and 9.4% on ESPN.
- Rodney Stuckey: This week has been great for him averaging 15.3 points, 5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals. He is owned by 5% in Yahoo and 5.2% in ESPN.

Fantasy Friday (Nov. 27)
Well, this is going to be another classic fantasy post, but first, I want to go over Jonas Valanciunas and his injury.
Jonas Valanciunas is going to be out for about 6-8 weeks with a broken hand. If you have him, that isn't that great. If you trade him, you aren't going to a good value out of him. That is really going to hurt you. However, if your team is struggling, you can trade for this guy low. When he comes back, he is going to do really well, which could really help your team out.
Over-Performers Of The Week
- Luis Scola: With Jonas Valanciunas out, this man has played great. In the past 4 games, Scola has averaged 17 PPG and 6.25 RPG. That is great, and he will most likely continue til Valanciunas comes back.
- Giannis Antetokounmpo: This freak has averaged 20 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1 steal, 1.3 blocks in the last 4 games while only averaging 1.3 turnovers. You might say, I don't want Giannis, he shoots horribly! Well guess what, he shot 60.9% from the field, 50% from 3, and 91.3% from the FT line in the last 4 game! He has over-exceeded my expectations this week.
- Kevin Martin: The last 3 games, Kevin Martin has shot 30% from the field and 33% from the 3 point line this week. While he is still doing well from the FT line, K-Mart is struggling with his offense only averaging 10 PPG this week. I do expect him to do better as he gets through this shooting slump, but I would put him on your bench as of right now.
- John Wall: He has averaged okay numbers, but they aren't John Wall numbers. This week he has averaged 13.3 points, 6 assists, and 5 turnovers. Not only that but his shooting hasn't been the best as it is under 40% from the field. Like K-Mart, J-Wall is just having a tough time right now, and I expect him to pick it up.
- Bismack Biyombo: This guy won't be scoring much, but he will be getting you boards with Valanciunas is out. This week he has averaged 10 rebounds per game. He is owned by 14% on Yahoo and 12.7% on ESPN
- Marco Belinelli: This past week he has averaged 17.5 PPG while making 3 threes per game. He is only owned by 18% on Yahoo and 11.7% on ESPN.

Fantasy Friday (Nov. 20)
So this was an interesting week. I would like to point out some injuries again that may affect your fantasy team before we get to our weekly awards.
Anthony Davis: Injured again. While the injury seems to be day to day. I expect these injuries from him all season as we have had many of them in the past.
Bradley Beal: Hopefully he will be back soon. He provides great numbers for his team and he is really useful. Don't get too worried with Beal, because he should be back strong.
J.J. Redick: He is likely to comeback soon and it won't be long before he is putting up 3-pointers.
Derrick Rose: I would be worried about him because this always seems to repeat each year. Derrick Rose is at all time lows over his career, so if you have him, you might want to look to trade him if you can.
Over-Performers Of The Week
- Nicolas Batum: He did pretty good this last week. While he only had 4 points one night, the other 3 he had 24, 33, and 28 points. Not only that but he has shot over 50% from the 3-point line and from the field as well as averaging 5 rebounds and 4 assists this week.
- Brandon Knight: This week he has averaged 21 PPG, 6.3 APG, 4.7 RPG, and 2 steals. However, he has averaged over 3 turnovers so be sure to watch out for that.
- Kristaps Porzingis: If I didn't include this guy, people would be screaming at me. He had 2 average games, then he had a 29 point, 11 rebounds game with a block thrown in there. Porzingis is over-performing this week, and New York hopes it continues.
- Ty Lawson: This week he has averaged 4 points, 4.5 assists, and 1.3 rebounds. Not only that but he has averaged 25% from the field, 50% from FT, and 11% from 3-point range as well as averaging 2.3 turnovers. Pretty bad huh?
- Markieff Moris: He has a 6 point game and a 5 point game this week. He is also not doing so hot in the rebounding category.
- Mario Chalmers: Ever since being traded, this guy has been playing great, averaging 18.7 points, 1.7 steals, and 3.2 threes this week. Chalmers is only owned by 29% on Yahoo, and 20.5 on ESPN.
- Nikola Jokic: He wasn't the best this week, but he did have a great game. Last game he had 23 points, 12 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 blocks. Pretty impressive. He is only owned by 19% on Yahoo and 4.7% on ESPN!
- Jameer Nelson: This man hardly ever commits turnovers and he will get you assists and rebounds. This week he has brought in some scoring too averaging 10.5 points and 3 assists and I do expect these numbers to rise as long as Mudiay continues to struggle. He is owned by 2% on Yahoo and 2.5% on ESPN.

Fantasy Friday (Nov. 6)
So, let me start by saying that this has been a great week for fantasy. I do want to note that lots of people have been playing really good. So let's take a look at the players from this week.
Over-Performers Of The Week
- Festus Ezeli: Let me tell ya something, Festus is a great player, and I expect him to keep it up, at least until Andrew Bogut comes back. He is also owned by only 13% of fantasy owners so he is also a candidate for pick-ups.
- Tristan Thompson: He didn't look the best early on but he has definitely turned it around. In the last 7 days he has averaged over 10 points and 10 rebounds along with 1.7 blocks. Great job Tristan!
- Karl-Anthony Towns: This boy has averaged 15 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 3.7 blocks! he is one of the best defensive players and he has been doing it in 27 minutes per game.
- Anthony Davis: This guy really has shot the best from the field. In fact, it has been horrible. He shot 4-20 one night and 3-12 another. He could really do better because he isn't looking like the best player in fantasy right now.
- Robert Covington: Come on Covington! He is only averaging 4 points and shooting 11% from the field. People are going to have to drop him soon.
- Andrew Wiggins: Most people thought that he was going to have a wonderful season, and that could still happen, but it has been disappointing so far. He has only shot 29% from the field and doesn't look the best so far.
- Festus Ezeli: He has played well early on and will continue until Bogut comes back. He is only owned by 13% from Yahoo and 8.4% on ESPN. He is a great player to pick up if you need blocks, rebounds, and some extra points.
- Rodney Hood: He has looked really good this week as he has averaged 12.8 PPG, 3.2 APG, and 1 steal. He is owned by only 56% on Yahoo and 29.5% on ESPN.
- T.J. McConnell: A name that you need to know. While he is only averaging 4.8 PPG, he is also 4.8 RPG, 8 APG, and 1.5 steals while shooting over 50% from the field. Only 33% of leagues own him on yahoo and only 13.9% on ESPN.

Fantasy Friday (Oct. 30)
Over Performers Of The Week:
- Mo Williams: He has averaged 14 PPG and 7 Assists so far and with Kyrie out, it would be a smart idea to make a trade for this player. Expect overly high numbers from Mo Williams.
- Nikola Mirotic: He has averaged 18.5 PPG, and 9 RPG as well as 1.5 steals. He has exceeded many peoples expectations and should be able to keep up this production.
- Jahill Okafor: Wow, this man has averaged 26 PPG, 7 RPG, and 2 blocks, but he has 8 turnovers per game. That could hurt you but it isn't too bad.
- Ricky Rubio: He has averaged a whooping 28 PPG and 14 assists in one game. He is shooting over 50% and is looking great so far.
- Markieff Morris: He has averaged only 4 PPG and 1 rebound. Hopefully that picks up, but he definitely isn't looking the best.
- Andrew Wiggins: Wiggins has only averaged 9 points and 1 rebound so far. While it is only one game, the numbers don't look the best and need some improvement.
- LaMarcus Aldridge: He just didn't look like Aldridge as he only is averaging 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 block. Hopefully this all picks up as the season progresses, but it may take a little while for him to be averaging all-star numbers, so just keep that in mind.
- Richard Jefferson: He is looking great and is averaging 12 PPG with 1.5 rebounds. The nice thing is his owned by only 1.1% of leagues in the whole fantasy basketball. He will be averaging these numbers til Kyrie comes back so now would be a great time to pick him up!
- Derrick Williams: This man is averaging 16.5 PPG and 4.5 RPG. He is owned by only 21.4% of leagues on ESPN and 22% of leagues on Yahoo. This is a great man too pick up if you are lacking in scoring so get him of the Free Agents while you can.
- Marvin Williams: This guy is averaging a double-double, 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists. He is only owned by 3.7% of leagues on ESPN and 5% on Yahoo. If you pick him up, you will see a big increase in the rebounding category.

Fantasy Fridays: Rebounders
Rebounders can give you a great amount of points, especially if your league gives you a great amount of points for boards. So why not give you the best rebounders for the 2015-16 season.
10. LaMarcus Aldridge: Last season he averaged 10.2 RPG. Now that he is with the Spurs, I expect that to go up since he doesn't have a great rebounding center like Robin Lopez. Not to mention, LaMarcus is most likely going to be more focused on rebounding and more and not as focused on scoring.
9. Rudy Gobert: The rising increase in popularity for Rudy Gobert isn't for no reason, and he has the numbers to prove it. Last season he averaged 9.5 RPG, but it obviously increased since the second half of the season. Gobert is going to be hard to get though, since he is rated so high on the rankings and I really don't recommend drafting him so high at where he is positioned.
8. Nikola Vucevic: This man is a boss on the boards, and is very underrated. Vucevic will give you boards but I don't expect his numbers to rise. In fact, I expect his numbers to decrease. The reason why is that his team is stacked with developing players that are really athletic and can rebound that basketball. I honestly don't think he will average 10.9 RPG next season.
7. Hassan Whiteside: Trust me, this guy will get a minutes increase. He won't be playing as much as LeBron of course, but he will average more minutes. That means his 10 RPG from last season, will increase. Chris Bosh isn't a rebounder, and Hassan is going to be the Heat's main man for rebounding.
6. Anthony Davis: Some people say Davis is the best fantasy player in the NBA. I say, yeah, he is. And his rebound numbers show why. However, Davis is not the best rebounder, and his rebounding numbers will not go up. The problem is, there is only so much numbers you can put up in a game, and most likely he will be more focused on offense as Asik will be focused on rebounds.
5. Kevin Love: After having a down season, I expect Kevin Love to have a major increase in his numbers, especially in his rebounds category. Love has been a top 5 rebounder and has had amazing rebounding when he was with the Wolves. I don't think his numbers will be back to his Minnesota times, but I think he will average a great amount of points.
4. DeMarcus Cousins: Why isn't he higher? Well, Willey Cauley-Stein is going to take some of his rebounding numbers, it is as simple as that. He is going to be a top rebounder, he just won't do as good.
3. Greg Monroe: You are probably saying, "Aaron, what is wrong with you?" What, you don't believe me? Greg Monroe averaged 10.2 RPG while his teammate averaged 13.5 RPG. Now that he is with the Bucks, he will see a big increase in rebounds. He could average over 14 RPG next season.
2. DeAndre Jordan: 15 RPG last season. What else do I need to say. Not much. He lead the league in rebounding last season, that is all you need to know.
1. Andre Drummond: He averaged 13.5 RPG and that will likely increase. Now that his teammate, Greg Monroe, that averaged 10.2 RPG last season, is now with the Bucks, Drummond is going to be the best rebounder in the NBA. He will be unstoppable on the board and he is an unknown player. Drummond is the best rebounder to get next season.

Fantasy Fridays: Centers
It is the last of the positions that we have covered that you need for a great overall fantasy team. They are the main rebounders, blockers, and low post scorers. In order for your team to be successful, you need centers. So why not get the best of the centers? Here are the top ten.
10. Dwight Howard: Yes, it is Superman himself. Averaging 15.8 PPG, 10.5 RPG, 1.3 Blocks per game, and 1.2 APG, Dwight Howard had a pretty good season stats wise. But last season, we learned that Superman wasn't as invincible as we thought. Despite averaging pretty good numbers last season, Dwight Howard played only 41 games. That's half the season. Yeah, pretty bad, am I right? So if you do grab Dwight, buyer beware, he could be out for half the season.
9. Al Horford: The Hawks had a great season partially because of him. And he is one heck of a fantasy player. I really think anybody who gets him will profit. While he averaged 15.2 PPG, 1.3 Blocks, 7.2 rebounds, and 0.9 steals, his assisting numbers were what caught my eye. Last season he averaged 3.2 APG! You will definitely find numbers that you won't get from any other centers with Al Horford.
8. Brook Lopez: He demonstrated last year that he has the ability to stay healthy as he played in 72 games. And last year, he had some great numbers as he averaged, 17.2 PPG, 7.4 RPG, 1.8 Blocks, and 0.6 steals. While you do have the risk for him to be injured, Brook Lopez can be really productive, especially now that Deron Williams is gone. Are you willing to take the risk is what you have to ask yourself.
7. Al Jefferson: Big Al had an okay season last year, but it was a big disappointment from the season he had before. In the 2013-14 season, Al averaged 21.8 PPG, 10.8 RPG, 2.1 APG, 0.9 steals, and 1.1 Blocks. I mean, that is wonderful numbers there Al. But last season, everything dropped except for his blocks. His points went down to 16.6 PPG, and his rebounds went down to 8.4 RPG. Al might just have a rebound season however. He very well could. If he does, it will be rewarding.
6. Nikola Vucevic: This man had a breakout season, last season as he averaged 19.3 PPG, 10.9 RPG, 2 APG, and shot 52% from the field. He is not the best defensively but he will get you rebounds and score. He is going to most likely a sleeper so watch him closely and get him if he is a steal.
5. Marc Gasol: As great of a player Marc is, he is not the best when it comes to fantasy. However, Marc is still at the beginning of his career, and can improve offensively, he is a great defender. Last season he averaged 1.9 blocks and 0.9 steals. One thing that many people miss when they look at Marc's stats is his assisting number. Last season, he averaged 3.8 APG, along with 17.4 PPG, and 7.8 RPG. He is a good fantasy player, don't sleep on him.
4. Hassan Whiteside: One of the best fantasy pickups that has ever happened from the waivers, happened last season. That was when Hassan had 12 blocks, 14 Points, and 13 Rebounds on Nation television. And Hassan will most likely see a big increase in playing time and I do expect him to become an all-star this next season. I do expect a lot of blocks, rebounds, and points from Hassan this season.
3. Greg Monroe: I honestly think that Greg Monroe will have his best season yet. After having a double-double season last year, Greg Monroe is at the best point of his life, and I expect him to average about 20 PPG, and 12 RPG. Not to mention, he might not be a great blocker, but Monroe can definitely steal the ball as he averaged 1.1 steals last year. Greg Monroe will be a great player to have on your fantasy team.
2. DeAndre Jordan: He lead the league in rebounds (15) and field goal percentage (71%). Not to mention he averaged 1 steal per game and 2.3 blocks. He only scores 12.1 PPG but scoring should be the reason why you got him. DeAndre Jordan is a player unlike any other. Get him if you can.
1. DeMarcus Cousins: He averaged 24.1 PPG last season along with 12.7 RPG, 3.6 APG, 1.5 Steals, and 1.7 blocks. He may average 4.3 turnovers and 4.1 fouls, but how can you argue with these stats. You really can't. He may have some downsides, but he is a beast on both offense and defense and is a great rebounder. Take DeMarc.
Well, there you have it, all five position worth of the top 10 fantasy players at their positions. If you want the other positions, click here. Well, hope you do well with your fantasy team. Until next week... Aaron Jaros.

Fantasy Fridays: Power Forwards
Power Forwards will give you rebounding and blocks. The best ones are the ones that will give you multiple 3 pointers. Power Forwards are necessary to having a great fantasy team. If you have ones that are dominant in the post and can stretch the floor, it's very beneficial. So you want some great PF's, well here are the top 10.
10. Thaddeus Young: Now with the Nets, he will have to take on a bigger scoring load. I certainly can see the PF averaging at least 16 PPG. One big thing is that he is a power forward that can steal the ball. He averaged 1.6 steals last season. He will also knock down a couple of 3s from time to time. He knows his role and I expect Thadd to do great next season.
9. Serge Ibaka: Averaging 2.5 blocks per game last season, Serge was doing great. He averaged 14.3 PPG last season, however, with Kanter, Durant, and Westbrook, I fear that could decline. However, that isn't was it is about for Serge because it's the little things that matter for him. Serge averages 7.8 rebounds, 0.5 steals, and shoots a great 37.6% from 3 points range and makes about 1 per game. Serge will get you quite a few things that many PFs will not.
8. Pau Gasol: Pau is going to have his numbers drop this next season no doubt. He really isn't that best fantasy player and struggles with consistency. While he averaged a double-double, that will be most likely not the case next year. I have a strong feeling that he will average around 15 PPG next season and about 8 rebounds, mainly because of Derrick Rose returning, and the rise of Jimmy Butler.
7. Paul Millsap: The Hawks played great last year, and Paul Millsap had a lot to do with that. Millsap last year averaged 16.7 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 3.1 APG, 0.9 Blocks, and 1.8 steals. No doubt he will continue this next year and could find an increase in points and rebounds. I would assume that Millsap will be a great fantasy player to grab.
6. Dirk Nowitzki: He is a lights out shooter and will be great to have on your fantasy team as always. Dirk is getting old however and his PPG will most likely drop a little. He was never the best rebounder, so don't get him for that reason. But Dirk will shoots lights out from FT, 3, and FG.
5. Kevin Love: Hopefully, he will have a better season than last year. That's what we hope. And if are hopes come true, fantasy owners with him on their team, will be rewarded. Kevin Love used to have 26 PPG and 13 RPG with the Wolves but production sure has slowed down with the Cavs. Hopefully the Cavs will incorporate him into the offense a little more and he will have an increase in stats.
4. Chris Bosh: he averaged over 20 PPG last season, and hopefully he will do the same after his recovery from the blood clots on his lungs. The only problem with Bosh is he isn't the best rebounder and doesn't have much else to offer other than scoring. So that is what I recommend using him for, scoring.
3. LaMarcus Aldridge: He is definitely going to have one of his best seasons yet and I expect his defensive numbers to rise. LaMarcus will no doubt get more rebounds than ever and will be faced with lots more assists and scoing opportunities in the Popovich system. Aldridge is going to be a great fantasy player this year so pick him up if you can.
2. Anthony Davis: 24.4 PPG, 10.2 RPG, 2.2 APG, 1.5 Steals, 2.9 Blocks, 80% FT, and 53.5% FG in his 3rd season. Nuff Said...
1. Blake Griffin: "What, this can't be right, Blake Griffin in front of Anthony Davis! How can this be!" Yeah, well guess what. The 2015 playoffs were unlike anything we have ever seen from Blake Griffin and I personally think that Blake is about to enter Stardom. In 14 games in the playoffs, Blake averaged 25.5 PPG, 12.7 RPG, 6.1 APG, 1 Steal per game, and 1 block per game. I figure that this will continue into the 2015-16 season and it will also improve. I have a feeling that Blake will be doing some stuff that we have never seen from anyone before and I think Blake will be the ultimate fantasy player to get. With Chris Paul slowly decreasing on the scoring side, I expect Blake to take on an even bigger scoring load.
Well, there you have it. The Power Forwards will most likely be the best fantasy position this year. There is so much talent so make sure you stock up on some great PFs.

Fantasy Friday: Sleepers (Aug. 14)
Well, when you are picking people to be on your fantasy roster, there are those who you will want to pick, but then there are the people who you won't even think about picking, so I'm going to tell you who those people are. They are, the sleepers.
10. Derrick Favors: This guys averages 16 PPG, 8 RPG, and 1.5 APG last season. This season will be even better for the guy if he can stay healthy. He will really help you on the defensive end as he averaged over 1 block per game last season.
9. Ricky Rubio: This guy might give you the occasional 20 point game, but he is much more valuable on the other categories. He will for sure give you the assists as he dished out about 8.8 APG last season. He will also rebound for you as Rubio is a big rebounder. Last, he will give you steals, many of them. He has been second in the league in steals 2 years. You might be concerned Rubio won't be healthy but he has been through an 82 game season. It will be a risk if you take him.
8. Wesly Matthews: This man can really help you on offense as he makes almost 3 three pointers a game but can also be a big help on defense I don't know how he will fit on the Mavs but I'm assuming his defensive numbers will go up on that team.
7. Eric Bledsoe: This is a great PG to have on your fantasy team. He will give you offense but he will also rebounds and assists as he averaged 5.2 RPG and about 6 APG. I would pick this defiantly pick this guy up if you can. He is a great fantasy guy.
6. Reggie Jackson: Averaging about 17 PPG with the Pistons last season, Reggie Jackson is looking like a guy that no one seems to be noticing. He will give you scoing and assists. I don't think that he will really be a guy you can rely on to do anything else. And I don't have a clue if he will do really good next to a guy like Branndon Jennings. If you do get Jackson, It should be for scoring and assists.
5. DeMar DeRozan: He is one of the best players on here but I put him at number 5 only because this guy will not be a huge sleeper that everyone skips over. If he does fall to you, I would recommend picking him up. He averaged a quite 20 PPG last season and other than his 3pt%, he doesn't have many downsides.
4. Gordon Hayward: I think Hayward will be a guy that people will pass up on a lot. He averaged a good 19 PPG last season and has contributed in every area for the Jazz. He can shoot the 3 and can help you out with steals. I would pick him up in a heartbeat.
3. Rudy Gay: You absolutely need to watch this guy. He is not only a scoring machine averaging about 21 PPG, but he does everything else. This guy is a wonderful fantasy guy. He would be at number 1 but I think people won't sleep on him as much as the other people, but if this guy come to you, pick him up!
2. Brook Lopez: This guy will give you the FG%, rebounds, scoring, and blocks if he is healthy. He is a risk, a really big risk. However, if he is healthy, he will be a great person to have on your fantasy team. I think that his scoring load will increase now that Deron Williams has left and I believe that he could be even better in fantasy this year. This all will depend on his health though.
1. Nikola Vucevic: This guy is the ultimate fantasy sleeper. You wouldn't really think about Vucevic when you think of the Magic, but that is who you should think of. He is really going to be an offensive guy as he averages over 19 PPG and 2 assists. Not to mention, this guy shot about 52% from the field. The biggest thing is that he is one of few people to average a double-double as he had 10.9 RPG. This would be the sleeper to pick up if he falls down to you. Get Vucevic if you can. He will make you team so much better.
Remember, sleepers aren't always the best available, so don't pick Vucevic if you have the #1 pick. Don't do it! But if people pass on these guys, get em!
